Wildlife Jewels Exhibit at Earth Day at the Bay!

Wildlife Jewels at the Newport Bay Conservancy’ Earth Day at the Bay

Such an inspiring day at Earth Day at the Bay as we came together to raise awareness for the preservation of precious wildlife and their habitats! It was a delight to engage the community through the arts—sharing the stories of incredible local wildlife featured in each piece and inspiring action through creativity and connection.

On Saturday April 26th, Wildlife Jewels had the pleasure of exhibiting at Earth Day at the Bay event hosted by Orange County parks and Newport Bay Conservancy.

A big thank you to Orange County Parks and Newport Bay Conservancy for hosting this wonderful event and providing a space to connect with fellow wildlife conservation advocates.

Thank you also to everyone who contributed to our collaborative "Paint for Wildlife" activity—helping color some of the Bay’s unique and precious inhabitants!

The Wildlife Jewels Arts of Wildlife Exhibition
We had the delight of showcasing Wildlife Jewels’ Arts of Wildlife collection, featuring some of our precious local wildlife, while sharing the unique stories and challenges each of these remarkable wildlife faced. Some of our featured wildlife included: Brawley the Coyote, Pink Tourmaline the Pelican, Mandarin Garnet the Monarch Butterfly, White Opal the Snowy Egret, and Rubellite the Elegant Tern. Each artwork celebrates the beauty and importance of local wildlife.

The Community Art Activity

One of the highlights of the day was our collaborative Wildlife Jewels Arts "Paint for Wildlife" canvas, created in partnership with Newport Bay Conservancy. The artwork, beautifully illustrated by our Executive Director to honor the Bay’s unique wildlife, invited the community to color in the majestic animals that reside at the Upper Newport Bay. It was inspiring to see children and adults alike engage so enthusiastically—bringing the piece to life while learning about local species! Stay tuned to see the completed artwork!!
