Launching Behind the Canvas: The Artistic Journey of the Wildlife Jewels Collections Established in 2014

Welcome to the World of Wildlife Jewels®, our new blog dedicated to providing behind the scenes of the Wildlife Jewels® Collections! Here, we'll share insights into our inspirations, the artistic journey behind our designs, and the creative process that brings our designs to life.

We're excited to kick off this journey by sharing a behind-the-scenes look at the painting process behind our signature “Amethyst the Rhinos” painting, hand- painted by Azi, in honor of World Rhino Day 2023 featuring precious poaching survivor Thandi and her calf Zolani.

Here, we're sharing a peek at the initial stages of the painting process of the stone Amethyst. The artist meticulously applies the first layer of paint, followed by the second, third and fourth layer, delicately blending shades of blue, violet, and purple to form the foundation of the gemstone. This groundwork sets the stage for the intricate detailing that will bring the precious Rhinos to life on the canvas.

Stay tuned for more exclusive photos and behind-the-scenes peaks into the world of the Wildlife Jewels Collections!
