Gray Sapphire the Gull’s Story
Gray Sapphire is a stunningly beautiful Western Gull. Sadly, she was discovered entangled in fishing gear and saran wrap in Southern California, having also ingested a fishing hook. Fortunately, she was promptly spotted, rescued, rehabilitated, and successfully released back into the wild. Witnessing the impact of fishing gear and plastic pollution on this precious Gull saddened us deeply, compelling us to feature her in our collection. Our aim is to share her story, raising awareness about the detrimental effects of fishing and plastic pollution on our precious wildlife.
