Paint for Wildlife is a Wildlife Jewels community art program—where noticing wildlife becomes art, and art inspires care.

by Wildlife Jewels®

About the Program: Wildlife Jewels® Paint for Wildlife™ inspires and empowers our community to value wildlife. Each community artwork begins with wildlife our Founder, Azi, photographs during coastal wildlife monitoring fieldwork—from La Jolla and Newport Beach to Solana Beach and beyond—then she hand-draws each animal into signature line art. At our community events and workshops, participants bring the wildlife to life with color while learning about the species and how to protect them. Our mission is to turn wildlife observation into art—and art into community action that helps protect wildlife and habitats.

The Story: Participants learn the story behind each wildlife “jewel” we’ve had the delight of meeting—some thriving in their natural habitats, and some we’ve helped rescue. Through our field observations, we share what we’re seeing along the coast and how our community can help protect local wildlife.
