About the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve:

Over 97% of Southern California's wetlands have vanished or been destroyed. These vital ecosystems serve as feeding grounds and habitats for a plethora of incredible shorebirds, including endangered least terns, threatened snowy plovers, brown pelicans, egrets, herons, cormorants, gulls, ducks, and various other species. The Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve stands as one of the largest remaining coastal estuaries in California, encompassing 1,380 acres and hosting over 800 species of plants, fish, and wildlife.

Join us as we explore the Bolsa Chica Wetlands, aiming to inspire action for the preservation of these vital ecosystems and the protection of the diverse wildlife depending on them.
