On this International Tiger Day, we spotlight this precious cub — a victim of horrific wildlife trafficking.

Wildlife crime, including the illegal pet trade and trafficking, is relentlessly pushing tigers to the brink of extinction. The illegal wildlife trade is a multi-billion-dollar criminal industry that continues to decimate wild tiger populations worldwide.

🧡 We must raise our voices for tigers—today and every day.
🔴 Support enforcement. Expose traffickers. Stop the illegal trade.

Without urgent action, wild tigers could vanish within our lifetimes. Let’s stand together to save them.

The Wildlife Trafficking Alliance coordinates efforts to:

  • Reduce consumer demand for illegally traded wildlife and wildlife products;

  • Advance laws, regulations, and policies that reduce illegal wildlife trade; and

  • Provide a cooperative and coordinated response protocol for the care and welfare of wildlife confiscated from illegal trade.
