🌎Happy World Migratory Bird Day! 💙💎

Every Bird Counts – Your Observations Matter!

🎉 We're thrilled to celebrate World Migratory Bird Day with a major milestone for Wildlife Jewels!

Wildlife Jewels has officially been granted a U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service Migratory Bird Rehabilitation – Transport Permit! 💙

This significant federal authorization marks an exciting new chapter in our wildlife rescue efforts, strengthening our ability to help injured, sick, and orphaned migratory birds through coordinated search & rescue and transport to permitted wildlife rehabilitators, giving them a chance to return to the wild.

At Wildlife Jewels, we believe every bird matters, every observation counts, and every wild animal thriving in its natural habitat is more precious than any gemstone.

Through our EYES and Rescue Crew programs, we observe, document, and rescue seabirds along the Southern California coast, turning observations into action to save lives.

🩵💎 Meet Paraíba, a beautiful Common Loon we found weak and emaciated at La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club. Our Rescue Crew rescued her and transported her to a local wildlife rehabilitation facility for care.

Inspired by her story, we created an original Wildlife Jewels artwork featuring Paraíba perched on a gemstone — a tribute to her precious life.

On this special World Migratory Bird Day, we celebrate not only the extraordinary journeys of migratory birds, but also every precious life we have the opportunity to protect. 💙

Every Bird Counts. Every Observation Matters. Every Life Is Precious.
