National Bird Day: Painting the Birds Who Share Our Coast
On this National Bird Day, we’re delighted to share a little behind-the-scenes magic—community art inspired by the precious birds who share our local coastline. 🕊️✨
This in-progress piece features a majestic Western Gull mom and her adorable chick, whom we’ve named Rhodochrosite the Gulls—inspired by birds we’ve observed and documented through our coastal wildlife field monitoring. Our founder created the original sketch, and our community began bringing their story to life—together, brushstroke by brushstroke. 🎨💙
Part of Paint for Wildlife™, a Wildlife Jewels community art program—where noticing wildlife becomes art, and art inspires care.
✨ Stay tuned to see the finished piece—unveiling soon.
