✨ A magical bird jewel of La Jolla… 💎
We were delighted to spot this magical California Brown Pelican, a golden jewel of the La Jolla coast! 💙
During our EYES survey on October 27, this magnificent pelican captivated us with a beautiful golden-yellow crown and delicate, windswept head feathers, like an elegant hairstyle crafted by nature. ✨
As the breeding season approaches, the colors of these majestic pelicans begin to transform, revealing even more of their breathtaking natural beauty.
Every feather, every golden hue, a precious reminder of the extraordinary beauty of the wildlife we share our coast with. 💙
