Wildlife Jewels Rescue Crew Featured on ABC 10News San Diego

Wildlife Jewels was honored to be featured on ABC 10News San Diego during the ribbon cutting celebration for our Rescue Crew program in Solana Beach.

The news segment introduces Wildlife Jewels Rescue Crew, our trained volunteer program that supports local wildlife search and rescue through field observation, monitoring, reporting, containment support, and transport support in coordination with wildlife rehabilitation organizations.

The feature also highlights Wildlife Jewels' EYES program, which monitors wildlife and documents the challenges facing local seabirds and other coastal wildlife. Through ongoing field observations, EYES helps identify and raise awareness of threats such as human disturbance, fishing gear entanglement, marine debris, wildlife harassment, and injured or displaced animals along Southern California's coastline.

We thank Megan Parry and the ABC 10News San Diego team for helping share the importance of protecting local wildlife and inspiring greater community awareness and stewardship.
