Wildlife Jewels at the CCWR 2026 Wildlife Rehabilitation Symposium!
We're pleased to share that Dr. Azi Sharif, Founder & Executive Director of Wildlife Jewels, will be presenting at the California Council for Wildlife Rehabilitators (CCWR) 2026 Virtual Symposium.
🎤 From Search to Rescue: A Data-Driven Field Response System for Wildlife in Distress
The presentation will highlight how Wildlife Jewels integrates GIS-based seabird monitoring, community reporting, and coordinated field rescue efforts to identify seabirds in distress and support timely rescue and transport to care.
Through our EYES and Rescue Crew programs, we're developing a data-driven approach to connecting early detection with field response, helping more birds receive the care they urgently need.
