Wildlife Jewels recently had the delight of joining Newport Bay Conservancy’s Earth Day at the Bay to celebrate the magical wildlife inhabitants of Upper Newport Bay.
We loved inviting the community to take part in our “Paint the Jewels of Newport Bay” activity and help bring a wildlife-inspired community artwork to life.

An incredible day of ocean inspiration at the AltaSea at the Port of Los Angeles Open House. On Saturday, November 22, Wildlife Jewels had the pleasure of exhibiting and sharing our ocean-life–inspired works of art, as well as our EYES coastal wildlife monitoring program and rescue efforts to help protect California’s magical coastal and marine wildlife.
We joined Walter Munk Day: For Oceans at Kellogg Park to connect the community with La Jolla’s marine wildlife through art, science, and search-to-save know-how.

Inspiring day at the Wetlands & Wildlife Care Center Baby Shower fundraiser! We had the delight of sharing new works of art inspired by some of the majestic wildlife cared for by WWCC — including a precious baby hummingbird and a magnificent pelican recovering from domoic acid. Each piece shared a world of dreams, telling stories of resilience and hope.
Such an inspiring day at Earth Day at the Bay as we came together to raise awareness for the preservation of our precious local wildlife and their habitats! It was a delight engaging the community in our efforts to inspire wildlife protection through the arts!
