Celebrate World Wildlife Day in Newport Beach with Wildlife Jewels through art, community, and conservation.
You’re invited to Wildlife Jewels’ 2nd Annual Paint the Jewels™ of the World, an inspiring, hands-on community painting experience as part of our World Wildlife Day Celebration in Newport Beach. Paint together in community while learning about the unique wildlife you’re celebrating—each “Jewel” has a story, and each life is worth protecting. No art experience needed. All ages welcome.
This free, family-friendly activity connects creativity, conservation, and community, and complements our World Wildlife Day efforts to support local and global wildlife and pollinators—including pelicans, seals, sea lions, penguins, hummingbirds, and butterflies—here in Newport Beach.

Get Involved: Paint the Jewels of the World!
Participate in the Wildlife Jewels’ Paint the Jewels™ of the World Collective Art activities and contribute to large paintings showcasing nearly-threatened, endangered and vulnerable species like the Monarch Butterfly, keystone species such as the Antarctic Krill, and our local coastal wildlife like Brown Pelicans and Whales.
Engage in a hands-on artistic experience while learning about each species' importance in our ecosystems and the urgent conservation efforts needed to protect them!
