Wildlife Jewels Rescue Crew is a trained volunteer program that supports wildlife search and rescue through observation, field monitoring, reporting, containment support, and transport support. By working alongside wildlife rehabilitation organizations and agency partners, Rescue Crew helps expand response capacity while connecting more wildlife with the care they need.

The Wildlife Jewels EYES program is dedicated to observing, documenting, and monitoring wildlife and the threats they face. Through long-term field monitoring and data collection, EYES helps support rescue efforts, conservation, education, and public awareness while inspiring people to value and protect wildlife and their habitats.

Wildlife Jewels was honored to be presented with a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition during the Wildlife Jewels Rescue Crew ribbon-cutting ceremony.
On Tuesday, June 9, 2026, Wildlife Jewels celebrated the official launch of the Wildlife Jewels Rescue Crew program with a ribbon cutting ceremony in Solana Beach.
Wildlife Jewels is a proud new Member of IUCN, the International Union for Conservation of Nature, joining a global network dedicated to conserving nature and protecting biodiversity.
Wildlife Jewels has been awarded a City of Newport Beach Cultural Arts Grant for The Art of Newport Beach Wildlife: Community Painting & Showcase, a free community art program celebrating Newport Beach wildlife.
Wildlife Jewels received a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition from U.S. Congressman Dave Min for its wildlife conservation and community impact.
Wildlife Jewels is pleased to share that our Executive Director, Azi Sharif, PhD, will be speaking at the Solana Beach Chamber Mix & Mingle Luncheon on “Protecting Coastal Wildlife in Solana Beach: How Our Community Can Help.”
