A Paint the Jewels Community Art Experience
Join Wildlife Jewels for a free oceanfront community art experience at historic Kerckhoff Marine Laboratory in Corona del Mar..
Participants will help create a collaborative artwork inspired by Newport Beach’s marine life and coastal wildlife, enjoy the beautiful waterfront setting, and take part in a special marine laboratory tour connecting art, science, and nature.

About The Art of Newport Beach Wildlife
The Art of Newport Beach Wildlife is a Wildlife Jewels community art series that brings people together through collaborative painting experiences inspired by Newport Beach's wildlife and natural environment. Throughout the series, participants help create large-scale community artworks while learning about local species and habitats. The series culminates in a public community showcase celebrating creativity, community, and Newport Beach's remarkable wildlife.
About Kerckhoff Marine Laboratory
Located on Newport Harbor, Kerckhoff Marine Laboratory has been a center for marine science and discovery since 1930. Operated by the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), the laboratory supports innovative marine research and technology development. Event participants will have the opportunity to learn about the laboratory and its connection to the coastal environment that inspires this community artwork.
This event is part of Wildlife Jewels’ The Art of Newport Beach Wildlife community art series, supported by the City of Newport Beach Cultural Arts Grant Program. Artwork created during the series will be featured in a public community showcase this fall.
