Join Wildlife Jewels for a special community evening at The Naked Cafe, just steps from Fletcher Cove beach, exploring our local wildlife through rescue stories, rehabilitation, art, and conversation.
Dr. Azi Sharif, Founder & Executive Director of Wildlife Jewels, will share stories and discoveries from Wildlife Jewels’ coastal monitoring and bird rescue work—including the seabird starvation and mortality event witnessed along our coast this spring. Learn what Wildlife Jewels is watching for now, how to recognize signs of wildlife distress, and what you can do when an animal may need help.
Special guest Dr. Erica Ellis, Medical Director & Wildlife VeterinarianShalom Wildlife Hospitalat Shalom Wildlife Hospital, will take us behind the scenes of wildlife rehabilitation—from the wild patients who arrive in need of care to what it takes to give injured and orphaned wildlife a second chance at life in the wild.
