Painting and Planting for Pollinators: Pacific Ridge School Students Celebrate Hummingbirds and Butterflies
🎨🌿 Painting and Planting for Pollinators 🦋🐝💚
We’re excited to share highlights from our recent pollinator arts program with the wonderful 7th-grade Service Learning students from Pacific Ridge School in Carlsbad.
Through art, learning, and hands-on planting, students explored the beauty of local hummingbirds and butterflies, discovered why pollinators matter, and expressed their creativity through pollinator-inspired artwork, painted clay pots, native planting, and pollinator care cards.
It was inspiring to see their creativity and care bring these lessons to life and reflect the importance of protecting pollinators and preserving biodiversity. 🌸💚
