Wildlife Jewels World Ocean Day Wildlife Walk
A special World Ocean Day celebration with Wildlife Jewels®
Join Wildlife Jewels for a special World Ocean Day Wildlife Walk along the beautiful La Jolla shoreline.
Together, we’ll explore the unique coastal wildlife of La Jolla and share stories of the seabirds and marine mammals Wildlife Jewels regularly observes, monitors, documents, and helps support through our EYES and Rescue Crew programs.
Participants will learn about local wildlife, the challenges they face — including entanglements, marine debris, injuries, seabird starvation, and domoic acid events — and how community observation and reporting can help protect ocean animals in need.
Come walk, learn, connect, and celebrate the ocean with us.
